Mixed metal flower workshop

Learn a range of traditional metalworking techniques in this one day Mixed Metal Flower workshop at Studio Budgie Galore. This workshop is a great introduction to working with copper and brass sheet to create your own unique 3-dimensional flower pin or stem.

With guidance from your tutor, you will learn how to pierce, form, texture, emboss, hammer, file, polish and finish metal – you will make several test pieces initially that explore how to work with metal before making your own layered flower. You will then attach either a pin or a stem to finish your flower.

All materials are included in the cost of this workshop. Tea, coffee and refreshments are also included. The workshop is fun and informative and no previous experience is needed but is also suitable for those with previous jewellery and metalworking experience.
