Leather Journal Workshop
Learn how to make your own leather journal with artist and jeweller, Ali Merriman.

In this hands on workshop you will learn how to work with leather to make your own leather journal, either a cover for a readymade note book or a hand bound wrap around journal using folded paper. Both perfect for special notes, diaries, gifts and keepsakes.
With guidance from your tutor you will learn how to cut leather, prepare it, punch holes and edge finish. You will learn sewing and binding techniques for decoration and function and also have the option to make your own handmade textured copper button using metal craft techniques to add unique detail to the finished item.

All materials are included in the cost of the workshop, refreshments are also included. The workshop is fun and informative, and no previous experience is needed.
