Woodland pendant workshop – Silver Art Clay with Helen Drye

Learn how to create beautiful pieces of jewellery using Silver Art Clay in this one day silver jewellery workshop at Studio Budgie. Silver Art Clay feels like porcelain clay to work with and when fired turns into fine silver. Fine particles of pure silver are mixed with a non toxic organic binder; when fired the binder burns away leaving a silver piece that can be hallmarked as fine silver.
With guidance from Helen, you will learn the technical skills required to roll, texture, and cut Silver Art Clay into a beautiful woodland themed pendant; you will also learn how to fire, burnish, polish and finish your piece to a high standard. All materials are included in the cost of this workshop, including 10 grams of Silver Art Clay and some fireable cubic zirconia stones.
Sterling silver jump rings are also included in the cost. Sterling silver necklace chains can be purchased additionally.
Tea, coffee and cake are also included. The workshop is fun and informative and no previous experience is needed.
