Silver Clay Ring Workshop – with Helen Drye

Learn how to create beautiful textured silver ring with topper using Silver Art Clay and fireable Cubic Zirconia in this one-day workshop at Studio Budgie. Silver Art Clay feels like porcelain clay to work with and when fired turns into fine silver. Fine particles of pure silver are mixed with a non-toxic organic binder; when fired the binder burns away leaving a silver piece that can be hallmarked as fine silver.

With guidance from Helen, you will learn the technical skills required to roll, texture, cut and form Silver Art Clay into a beautiful textured ring; you will also learn how to fire, burnish, polish and finish your piece to a high standard. All materials are included in the cost of this workshop with the option of adding a fireable CZ.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are also included. The workshop is fun and informative, and no previous experience is needed.
